The Sibley Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North America, written and illustrated by David Allen Sibley. Includes North American birds found east of the Rocky Mountains. This book weighs a little over a pound, or less than half that of Sibley's original Guide to Birds.

The beautiful paintings are the same size as in the original. And the book has more complete text than the original. But by leaving out western species and using space more efficiently, Sibley has created a truly portable field guide.
