Solar Spa Birdbath
Water falling into water — it's something birds absolutely cannot resist. But we don't like to hassle with electric cords outdoors. That's why we've been waiting forever for a good-looking pedestal birdbath with a solar-powered water feature.

This is it! The Solar Spa Birdbath is by far the handsomest solar powered bath we've ever seen. It looks like natural stone. (It's actually cast stone and resin.) It has a nice big 18-inch wide basin, which rests on a substantial pedestal.

The spa's power comes from the sun, captured in the high-quality solar panel in the center of the bowl. There's a little pump hidden out of sight in the bath that recirculates the same water, so it doesn't have to be hooked up to a hose.

The basin is only 2 inches deep, which is ideal for birds. (Birds are afraid to step into a deep birdbath.)

The fountain feature of the Solar Spa Birdbath is only for use in temperatures above freezing, and it has to be in full sunlight for the recirculating fountain to operate. (Well, of course. It's solar powered.)

If you want to use the bath without the spray, you can take out the solar sprayer and replace it with the resin panel that comes with the bath. The manual recommends that you bring the bowl inside in freezing weather.
