Protect suet from big birds like pigeons and starlings!Downy woodpeckers, chickadees and other suet-loving clingers can eat in peace.
If you have a starling problem, Duncraft suggests that you leave the suet in its plastic tub, removing only the paper covering. This prevents starlings from reaching down from the top or up from the bottom, where the outer cage is closest to the inner cage. Starlings may get some of the suet, but they can't clean it out!
Squirrels can't use it either. The manufacturer, Duncraft, has calculated the precise distance from the Havenguard fencing to the suet cake to put it just out of paws' reach.
All metal feeder. Lift top to fill, spring lock keeps squirrels out. Holds 2 suet cakes, 10 1/2 inch diameter, 11 1/2 inches tall.
