It's here! The new Leica Ultravid HD 10x42 binocular is now available. With 3% greater light transmission than its superb predecessor, the Leica Ultravid. Also has special coatings to resist fingerprints and make water roll off the lenses without leaving spots.

It has fluorite-ion lenses that will reduce chromatic aberrations and improve color rendition for High Definition images, even beyond the already great Leica Ultravids.

New Highly Developed lens and prism coatings let 3% more light come through the instrument, providing slightly brighter images in any light.

Higher Demands in stray light reduction, resulting from new computer-aided design, increase overall contrast and provide greater image detail.

Highly Designed focusing mechanism incorporates a virtually lubricant-free system with PETP-Discs, which provide for a smooth and positive movement throughout the operating temperature range.

Leica's newly developed AquaDura hydrophobic lens coating lets rain and fog roll off exterior lens surfaces and makes it easier to clean the lenses.
