Something surprising we recently discovered about this angled scope is that it works beautifully for digiscoping with a digital camera and the Zeiss Digital Camera Adapter. We saw this combo in action at the Midwest Birding Symposium in September, 2007, and we were wowed by what a neat, compact, and high-quality outfit it was.

The Professional Tripod is a decent basic tripod. Its maximum height is only 55 inches, so it would not be suitable for a tall person, but it is OK for most people, especially with an angled scope such as the Pentax PF-65 ED-A II.
