Vortex Razor 20-60x85 HD Spotting Scope (Angled)
Razor sharp!

The Vortex Razor amazed us when we compared all the top scopes for our review in Bird Watcher's Digest (November, 2009). This is a beautifully designed, bright, sharp, rugged scope. It's the only scope with truly high-end optical quality at such a moderate price, which includes the 20-60 power zoom eyepiece. We found it to be the best buy of all the top scopes we studied.

Dual focus knobs allow for precision, with coarse and fine adjustments.
XT Optical Design virtually eliminates aberrations and provides distortion-free images with unmatched edge-to-edge accuracy and detail.
XD Lens Elements mean extra-low dispersion (XD) glass. It enhances resolution, color, and contrast.
XR Lens Coatings Vortex XR proprietary anti-reflection lens coatings increase light transmission with multiple coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces.
Triplet Apochromatic Lens reduces chromatic aberration. (We could detect none whatsoever!)
Fully Multi-Coated Lenses increase light transmission with multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces. These are broadband lens coatings.
