FeatherGuard reduces those heart-rending window strikes. It is a string with feathers that dangle along it. Each end fastens to your window with a suction cup. Use it vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

It's been estimated that as many as 975 million birds are killed every year in North America because they fly into glass windows.

Why? Because the glass reflects the sky, creating a deadly optical illusion. Flying birds can't tell that it's just a reflection. The resulting collisions between bird and glass are always serious and often fatal to the birds.
