(Spring) A breathtaking blend of midwestern birds celebrating the rights of spring. It's a 60 minute audio CD, primarily of geese, 99% of which are Canadas. All the sounds are from Horicon Marsh, in Wisconsin. You hear "closeups" of male and female geese, which sound different from each other. (Male goes honk while female goes hink. Together they sound like hink-honk.)
The sounds are migration sounds, which are different from the vocalizations Canada Geese make at other times of year.
You can also hear a storm approaching and rain coming in, but it does not overwhelm the sounds of the geese.
Other species do occur on the tape, about 20 to 30 in all, including Blue Jays and cardinals.
