It's tiny and weighs only 6 ounces, but it does the job. It's perfect for kids (as well as adults to don't want to lug around heavy binoculars). Three family members can each have his or her own color. Choose yellow ("Sun"), blue ("Moon"), and silver ("Star") from the color menu below.
Roof prisms allow streamlined shape. Nice for a daytime hike, a football game, or the theater. The Energy has multi-coated lenses for bright views.
Double-hinged design lets the binocular fold easily to fit in a pocket. This also means you can bring the eyepieces closer together than most binoculars will allow. So it works for children and for people with close-set eyes.
