There are lots of things to recommend this new 8x21 binocular. It's got suprisingly good optics for the low price. It focuses as close as 8 feet, which is unusually good for an inexpensive binocular.

It's tiny and weighs only 6 ounces, but it does the job. It's perfect for kids (as well as adults to don't want to lug around heavy binoculars). At the moment it comes in green ("Ocean"). We expect other colors again in August, 2008.

However, for people who wear glasses, this binocular will not give the full field of view (only 8mm eye relief). Glasses wearers, please consider the Eagle Optics Triumph binocular.
