Pentax is world renowned for lenses of outstanding optical quality. This scope is optically one of the best ever made.

It is somewhat heavier than the Zeiss and Swarovski scopes, but the quality is comparable. So if you want outstanding optics and a big, generous eyepiece and excellent engineering, and you can't afford a couple grand for a scope, and you're willing for you scope to weigh a little more, please consider the Pentax PF 80ED Angled spotting scope.

This Pentax scope (70950) includes a field case. It has a wonderful 20-60x zoom eyepiece (70509), which we include. (Some dealers do not. If you find a price lower than ours, make sure that you're getting the eyepiece.)
