The Audubon Compact 8x25 binocular is light weight (9.5 oz.). It focuses as close as 8.2 ft., and it's also good at a distance. And it works for people who wear glasses as well as for those who don't.

The Audbon Compact is a nice little binocular that won't break the bank.

The outer shell is metallic black with a rubberized trim for surer grip. Many nature watchers prefer the dark body, because it's less conspicuous in the field. The focus knob is also rubberized, so it's easy to turn, even if you're wearing gloves.

Optically, with its dense glass (BAK-4) and fully-multi-coated lenses, the Audubon Compact is a good binocular. However, it is not waterproof.
