WindowAlert Ultraviolet Hawk (Set of 6 Decals)
Six decorative hawk decals to reduce bird collisions with windows. The decal looks clear and almost invisible to humans. But for birds, it glows brilliantly, because of the ultraviolet component, which birds are much more sensitive to than are people.

Songbirds, for example, have up to 12 times the number of photo-receptive cells in their eyes as humans. WindowAlert decals help birds see windows and thus avoid striking the glass.

No glue is involved. We just put some on our windows at Birdwatching Dot Com, and it was really easy. We just peeled the translucent hawk image from the backing and pressed it against the window, where it stays on by static or something we don't understand. The decals are most effective when interspersed across and placed on the OUTSIDE of a clean window.
