This unique bird feeder consists of a stainless steel mesh tube containing the seed, surrounded by a vinyl-coated metal screen. The entire tube dispenses seed.

The design prevents gray and red squirrels from reaching inside, but allows the heads of small birds to easily get at the seeds inside.

It's also great for split peanuts.

Keeps larger birds away, too.

It's easy for human hands to open the lid and fill. Just lift the green top and pour in the seed. But a simple lock (like a washer) fits over the wire, preventing a squirrel from lifting the lid.
