Bird Brain 7.4 Upgrade from BB 7x (Download)

This upgrade is for registered owners of Bird Brain 6.x.

Bird Brain 7.4 is the last version of Bird Brain. Filemaker, the database that Bird Brain is created in, no longer supports the Runtime version that is needed for Bird Brain's distribution.

We still support upgrading from previous versions of Bird Brain to version 7.4. So if you have a version older than 7.4, you can still bring forward your older data into the 2019 taxonomy. We will also provide counseling and custom help units.

Bird Brain 7.4 has the 2019 bird names and taxonomy from the Clements List of World Birds, the ABA, and the AOU. We can not upgrade to subsequent versions of the world list, because we can no longer alter the software. We're sorry. We wish it were not like this.

Going forward, there is a solution. You can export your Bird Brain 7.4 data and import it into Scythebill.
