Water just for the birds

Birds need water all year around. A freshly filled birdbath will attract even species such as warblers, who don't visit feeding stations.

If you live where temperatures fall below freezing, you can turn your winter backyard into a spa for birds. They simply cannot resist a source of free water. You can transform an existing birdbath into a bird spa by adding a birdbath de-icer.

The easiest solution is a heated birdbath with a built-in thermostatic heater. It turns on on only when the water is close to freezing, so it is safe and economical to operate.
