Bird-Life ~ A Guide To The Study Of Our Common Birds, by Frank M. Chapman with 75 Color Plates - Published 1901 by D. Appleton and Company.
Condition. Book is in better condition than you would expect for a book of its age. The outside cover is not torn or creased. There is some wear and some bubbling on the inside of the cover. Inside the covers, the end papers are somewhat cracked (see photos), but the book is intact and fairly tight. The front page has an inscription to "Mother," written very lightly in pencil and dated May 4, 1901. No notes on other pages.
Clearly this book has been lovingly read and treasured.
