A FABLE
This is the story of the Little Wind, who lives by a sky-blue lake in the mountains.
The Little Wind overhears the weeping willows whispering about their reflections in the water. Becoming curious, he tries to see his own reflection, but all he sees is waves.
The cattails explain that he can see his reflection only when the water is quiet. Thus begins the Little Wind's quest to see himself in the water.
Appropriate for children aged 3 to infinity. The author is Diane Porter, of Birdwatching Dot Com. Illustrator is Donna Seibert Miller. Paperback, 16 pages. Published by Ideaform Press.
