Set up is three easy steps:

Partially roll down the window of your vehicle
Attach your spotting scope or camera to the mounting plate.
Clamp the car window mount on the window pane by tightening a knob.

From that moment on, you control all tilt and pan action with just one hand on the car window mount handle. Turn clockwise to lock, and turn counter-clockwise to loosen.
