The bath is made of compression molded plastic, for great durability. Diameter of the bowl is 18 inches. The bowl and railing clamp are separate pieces. The bowl has a threaded attachment, so you just turn the it a little bit on the clamp to secure it. The whole unit is not heavy, and the compression-molded plastic design provides durability.

Your own electric cord brings electricity to the underside of the bowl, where the 120 watt thermostatically controlled heater is built in. When plugged in to an extension cord, the heater will work automatically during freezing temperatures to keep the water melted but not hot.

The bath comes with a 3 year manufacturer's warranty and can be used year-round.
