Swarovski ME 1.7x Magnification Extender - 49230

The ME 1.7x magnification extender increases the magnification by a factor of 1.7. It fits between the ocular and objective modules. It can be used with the ATX / STX oculars or with the BTX Modular.

You use it to increase the magnification of the scope. It can be used with the regular ATX/STX Ocular or with the (both-eyed) BTX Module.

When using the 1.7x Magnification Extender with the ATX/STX Module and the 95mm, 85mm, or 65mm objective, it changes the magnification as follows:

The magnification of the 95 mm objective will be 50-120x.
The magnification of the 85 mm objective will be 42-100x.
The magnification of the 65 mm objective will be 42-100x.

When using the 1.7x Magnification Extender with the (both-eyed) BTX Module and the 95mm, 85mm, or 65mm objective, you get fixed magnifications:

The magnification of the 95 mm objective becomes a fixed 60x (instead of 35x without the extender).
The magnification of the 85 mm objective becomes a fixed 50x (instead of 30x without the extender).
The magnification of the 65 mm objective becomes a fixed 50x (instead of 30x without the extender).
