Swarovski STX Module Eyepiece Straight - 49902

This is Swarovski's straight eyepiece version of the modular scope system, utilizing the STX Modular Eyepiece. It integrates the eyepiece and prisms into one unit.

The Modular Eyepiece fits onto your choice of four Modular Objective lenses: 65mm, 85mm, 95mm and 115mm.

Eyeglass wearers will revel in the 20mm of eye relief provided by the Modular Ocular's adjustable eyecup. The large eyepiece and Swarovski engineering provides this ample 20mm of eye relief throughout the entire zoom range. So you can get the full field of view whether or not you are wearing glasses or even sunglasses.

With the 65mm or the 85mm objective component, the scope has a zoom range of 25-60x magnification. With the 95mm objective component, the scope has a zoom range of 30-70x magnification. This is an advance over the previous Swarovski scopes' zoom range, which was 25-50x. What makes the increased magnification possible is the new, modular eyepiece design that also includes the prisms.

Swarovski implements the finest optical technology to provide images with razor-sharp clarity. Improved coating technology and HD lenses set new standards for brilliance and image definition and guarantee optimum contrast in low light situations. Field Flattener lenses create a flat image with razor-sharp details from edge to edge.

Construction
Straight body design is preferred by some users who are accustomed to a straight scope. When in doubt, we recommend angled.
Strong, magnesium body stands up to hard use and resists corrosion. Rubber armoring provides pleasant tactile experience, protection from dings, and a secure, non-slip grip.
Adjustable eyecup twists up and down for comfortable viewing with or without eyeglasses.
Waterproof optics are sealed with O-rings to prevent moisture, dust, and debris from getting inside the spotting scope
Fogproof barrel is filled with nitrogen gas to inhibit internal fogging.
Swaroclean lens coating repels oil and dirt on all external glass surfaces.
